food

its sunny outside and you crave for a fresh meal. Can`t choose between pasta or salad?
That happens to me all the time. Usually I end up doing both.^^ This recipe below is easy to make and you can find the ingredients in every supermarket. Its a good take- along for a friends BBQ or just for you in- between.
So try it and let me know if you like it...

Ingredients

2 packets of Tortellinis (your choice if meat, spinach or other stuffing)
2 times Sour Cream (approx. 400ml)
1 cucumber
1 red pepper
1 packet of ham
1 box cherry tomatoes
1 packet frozen parsley
1 packet frozen chive
( fresh is even better)

boil the tortellinis in hot water and add some salt. When they are done, let them cool for some time
In that time you can cut all the other ingredients in small pieces.
Put everything in a bowl and mix it with the sour cream. If you chose the frozen herbs, let them get room temperature and add to your salad.
If necessary, add salt and pepper for season tasting... et voilà.

Today is my cousins Birthday and I thought baking something would be really nice. I felt like doing some cupcakes with a special touch. She loves Oreo- Cookies so I thought it would be a good idea to use them. These special cookies remind me of our family vacations in the past. In Venezuela, the USA or even in Spain they were always our snacks everywhere we went. Good memories always come up, when we have our family reunions...
So here is to you my wonderful buttermilk cupcake- recipe:

Ingredients

300g flour
 2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon natron
2 eggs
100g sugar
75ml oil
300ml buttermilk
1 packet Oreos
muffin- formed baking sheet
muffin papers

Mix flour, baking soda and natron in a bowl. Take a seperate bowl and mix the eggs with sugar until it gets foamily.
Add the buttermilk and the oil slowly. Now you just need to add the flour-mix into the cream and stir.
Take the cookies and chop them into little pieces. Add them to the dough. Get a muffin formed baking sheet and put the little muffin-papers into it. Now put the dough into the form and put them straight into the oven.
180°C for about 20 / 25minutes

Ingredients for topping:

100g soft butter
150g powdered sugar
200g creamcheese
a packet of vanilla sugar
 some oreo cookies for decoration

Start with the butter and stir it until it gets a soft consistency. Now you just need to add all ingredients one after the other and mix until everything is perfectly together. Let it cool for a while in the fridge, before using.
